Entry Requirements
A willingness to engage in
a process of personal development is an essential requirement. It is expected
that participants are open to self examination, self awareness and personal
growth. Applicants from all groups in society regardless of class, race, gender,
sexuality or disability are welcome.
Course Structure
Personal development work
takes place through
mini-lectures,
structured exercises, small groupwork and as a self-directed process. An
accepting and safe environment is promoted throughout the course.
Many creative methods
of developing your personal effectiveness will be used including techniques/exercises from tai a chi, yoga, etc. and
psychosocial approaches i.e. NLP, brief, existential, gestalt and cognitive
behavioural therapy.
Fees & Enrolment
The
course takes place in June 2004 and the
fee of €170 includes 1 weekend (10am-5pm),
beverages, and handouts. An attendance certificate
is given on completion of the course. The course takes place at the Connemara
