Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Practitioners

This course is focused on helping you deepen your understand of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT and how to integrate CBT into your work with clients. Particulary relevant to counsellors, psychotherapists, and psychologists (qualified or in training) as well as other professionals engaged in working directly with clients requiring psychosocial help (psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists etc.). The learning approach will include experiential exercises, lectures, and use of Film. The course is ideal for meeting your continuing professional development needs. A certicate of attendance is provided by GTI. 20 hours CPD points.

Facilitator: Norman Warden who has over 35 years experience of working as an integrative psychotherapist in UK and Ireland, initially working as a psychiatric nurse in the early 1980’s where he began his training in CBT. He is an accredited Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor (IACP & IAHIP) and Lecturer in Integrative CBT at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Involved in psychotherapy training, supervision and clinical work since 1985 including 10 years full time work in the mental health services of NHS, UK.
