Counsellors and psychotherapists help with a wide range
of problems: anxiety, panic, depression, relationship difficulties, dissatisfaction with life, loss of a sense of direction or purpose, unresolved grief, low self esteem, addiction, eating problems, domestic violence and sexual abuse. Check with the therapist if you wish to know what training and experience they have with your particular problem. Counselling or Psychotherapy may last just a few sessions or, more commonly, continue for several weeks, months or even years depending on the wishes and needs of the person.
