Brief counselling focuses on working short term with clients over 1-8 sessions through EAP (employee assistance programmes) referrals and other referral sources. Content includes:

Contacting and working with EAP companies
How to work competently with short term clients
Brief counselling approaches; solution focused brief therapy

The course will benefit counsellors, psychotherapists and allied professionals wishing to seek work with EAP providers as well as those already working with short term clients
